Title:
Zesta – a fizzy drink combining the flavours of apple, lemon
and lime.
Client
Brief:
The brief I have been provided with is: “to create a new
soft drink brand which ‘Raskino Consulting Ltd’ (R.C.L) may sell to a wide
variety of outlets across the U.K. Raskino Consulting Ltd would like to hear
and see my ideas behind how this new drink may be advertised throughout the
United Kingdom in a cross-media campaign.
Context:
A short advertisement for the product which could be used for
an online advertisement and a televised advert. The advert will be used to
promote the new product/brand.
Target
Audience:
This advertisement is targeted at 16-25 year olds. No gender
specific audience however it is more likely to appeal to the C2DE social category.
Visual
Elements:
Colour Scheme – The colour scheme will be using yellow and
green. This is because of the flavour of the drink. Green is to represent the
apple and lime and the yellow is to represent the lemon. The colours themselves
are typically associated with a much younger age group and can be seen as
childish, however they are relevant to the product and will be presented in a
way to look more appealing to the target audience.

Rationale:
I have chosen this idea because the drink is considered
refreshing and can be seen in similar light as an energy drink, but will be
marketed as refreshing and hydrating. The product will be adve3rtised towards
the C2DE category and this will be shown in the advert as the Actor is seen as
a working class male.
